Job introduction

We wish to appoint an inspirational leader to join our school as Head of School from September 2021. We welcome applications from both external and internal candidates, and willing to consider applications for flexible working. This is an opportunity for someone to make the step from Senior Leader to Head of School, in a supported environment.

Paid weeks per year: 52

About the role

As Head of School you will demonstrate outstanding leadership and strong interpersonal skills to inspire, motivate and empower colleagues to continuously improve our inclusive school. You will have responsibility for the daily leadership and management of our school, working closely with the Executive Headteacher in shaping our strategic vision.

The successful candidate will have established a track record of securing the best possible learning outcomes, both attainment and progress, of all learners. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the proven ability to lead, develop and influence others to achieve exceptional performance, holding them accountable for their own practice and the learning of the children in their care.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
