The Role

At Lewisham Homes we believe in building on potential. As a Continuous Improvement Analyst, your ability to value and empower staff to embrace, develop and accept change could have a real impact on people’s lives.

We are an ambitious not-for-profit organisation focused on improving housing in the Lewisham borough. As well as managing 19,000 homes on behalf of Lewisham Council, we aim to provide a better experience and more opportunities for residents, communities, and the dedicated people who join our growing team.

By joining Lewisham Homes as a Continuous Improvement Analyst, you will be in a position to help develop and shape the culture and effectiveness of your team, department and organisation. As part of our new central Business Improvement Team, Continuous Improvement Analysts are professionals that collaborate with our Change Managers and business colleagues to play a key role in
ensuring that projects and change initiatives meet their objectives and deliver business value. This will range from embedding inclusive leadership; using technology as a driver for change improvements to becoming a high performing organisation.

Using our Corporate Plan as the starting point for organisational improvements you will be part of a team that will drive lean techniques for future state process analysis, design, implementation, measurement and continuous improvement. These roles will be responsible for streamlining, simplifying and improving end-to-end processes and ways of working, driving a continuous improvement culture, with systems and tools to drive productivity and service improvement.

If successful the main duties of your role will be:

  • Foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement and customer focus, acting as an exemplar across Lewisham Homes.
  • Utilise the adaptive change delivery methodology for the delivery of all work and contribute to on-going improvement/refinement of the methodology.
  • Support the backlog planning process through activities such as backlog refinement, business case development and outline planning.
  • Act as a change agent to instil lean methodology culture and ensure principles are utilised consistently.
Serve as an expert on Lean process methodologies and process improvement tools.

We provided opportunities to enable our staff to develop their skills and knowledge to help them excel in their roles, and we expect everyone to be eager to learn new skills and to help others.

As a major local employer with over 500 staff, we are committed to providing opportunities for personal development, plus flexible and agile working to help us to continue to embrace wellbeing. We also offer benefits including: season ticket loan, 26 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), health and wellbeing benefits and membership of the local government pension scheme.
