NJC Pay Scale point 5/6 pro rata, term time only (£16,482 - £16,781 depending on experience)
8.45am 3.35pm with 45 minute lunchbreak (30 hours & 25 minutes a week)

The Jenny Hammond Primary School is looking to recruit a Special Needs Assistant to work with a child with high level needs both individually and in small groups within our Year 1 team. The position is a one year initially.
You will be:
- NVQ2 Teaching/Special Needs Assistant or above qualified
- Experienced in working with a child/children with autism and high level needs
- Confident and have the ability to work with children on a 1:1 or in small groups under the direction of the teacher or SENco
- A positive and inspirational colleague who can use their initiative when required
- A team player who enjoys working co-operatively with colleagues and is committed to the role
