The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contract Monitoring Officer to join our multi-agency team. The main objective for the post holder is to provide contract monitoring and administration duties which support temporary accommodation procurement processes. The successful candidate will undertake related functions that ensure compliance by managing agents and other partnering landlords when procuring accommodation. This includes executing a range of property management and maintenance services to both property suppliers and homeless households. Additionally you’ll provide a customer-focused administration service to housing suppliers of temporary accommodation; ensure property offers are clearly described, priced accurately in accordance with the Pan London Rates schedule.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity the successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of temporary accommodation provision and a general awareness of contemporary housing issues. You will be fully proficient in Microsoft Office packages and be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with demonstrable experience of partnership working and the ability to build and manage professional relationships. Additionally you’ll have excellent customer services skills and as well as an awareness of Health and Safety requirements for temporary accommodation.
