You’ll be supporting the Health & Safety Manager and the Director of Health & Safety in all aspects of Health & Safety compliance across Optivo. And assist in establishing, developing, managing and monitoring the H & S Management System and the continual improvement of H & S across the organisation.
You’ll be working as day to day support for Managers and staff across Optivo, ensuring that our policies & procedures are consistently applied in line with the principles of sensible risk management. Whilst continuously promoting a culture of managing and being accountable for risk is recognised as being an essential part of business as usual.
This position can be based at any of the following locations: Croydon, Sittingbourne, Kent
What you’ll need
You’ll have experience of working as a Health & Safety Advisor or equivalent experience and have a professional qualification in Health and Safety (minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).
You’ll have excellent up to date knowledge of H & S legislation, guidance and best practice, along with strong communication skills, had and have the ability to work effectively with staff throughout the organisation regardless of seniority or background
This role will require some travel to various sites where required, so candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence
