About the service

Hillingdon Council have recently centralised the Brokerage and Direct payment model and function in order to develop and standardise practice across all teams. An integrated service will allow the council to work in a more proactive way with partners across the market, ensuring there is a range of quality provision for service users to access.

About the role

We are recruiting a Provider Support Officer to join our new Integrated Team service. 

As a Provider Support Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of Social Care providers and the contracts they have with the council on a variety of systems, including ContOCC and Marketplace in conjunction with colleagues in other departments.

You will be producing, monitoring, reviewing annual reports as required for various departments and senior management within the council.

You will be responsible for analysing this data using tools within the Microsoft Office Suite.

You will act as a key point of contact for all provider & partner engagement from a Social Care perspective.

You will manage a workload consisting of preparation and analysis of scheduled and ad hoc reporting often with tight deadlines.

Liaison with managers and colleagues in procurement to identify gaps in the market and potential new providers. 

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with providers and health partners.

You will have good attention to detail and be able to analyse and present information to various stakeholders using Microsoft Excel, Access Databases and reporting tools within the Social Care systems. You will have a strong financial awareness and be able to identify new opportunities for both customers and the council.

You will also have strong organisational skills to effectively manage your workload, working on various tasks with possible conflicting deadlines.
