We are seeking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor; to assist in the development, delivery and monitoring of a robust health, safety and compliance management framework as a provider of social housing and as an employer.

Your role will be, to provide expert advice, knowledge and support to the organisation, working with managers and health and safety champions to embed a positive safety culture.  You will ensure that health and safety legislation and risk assessments are being adhered to, monitor compliance through audits and recommend improvements in order to minimise risk.  You will have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. You will also lead on broader health and wellbeing initiatives and campaigns.  You will have good communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with managers.

If you hold a NEBOSH or NCRQ diploma (or equivalent) with membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), have the experience we are looking for, and a genuine passion to drive forward the health and safety agenda, then we want to hear from you.

To be successful in this role you will need to have first class knowledge of current and emerging issues within the sector, UK Health & Safety legislation, and a proven track record of turning policy into practice.
