About the job
This is a really exciting time to join our newly created Resident Involvement and Participation Team as it looks to establish new engagement activities with residents, ensuring they have genuine and meaningful involvement in shaping services related to their homes and neighbourhoods.
Our Resident Involvement Co-ordinators will act as a key point of contact for residents, connect with, listen to and gather their views, and feed these back into the delivery of resident involvement services, in line with our Resident Involvement Strategy.
Supported by the Head of Resident Involvement and Participation, you will implement, facilitate, develop and maintain initiatives that enable residents to provide their views, to participate in scrutiny activities and performance monitoring, and to exert meaningful influence on our decision-making processes, at whatever level they feel comfortable with. You will provide expert advice and support in terms of resident involvement every step of the way, not only to our residents but also to the wider organisation.

You will be driven and will thrive on achieving results in a fast paced environment.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and will be able to support and influence residents and colleagues to achieve a shared vision. Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders (including residents, colleagues, members and external partners), you will have a high degree of confidence and the ability to make firm, rational and sound decisions.
Our Resident Involvement Co-ordinators will need to work flexibly and will be required to work some evenings and weekends, and occasional public holidays, in order to meet service requirements.
To be Successful in this role you will have:
