Redbridge Council is recruiting to strengthen our Desktop support team to improve the service we provide to our 3,000 internal customers. To succeed in this role, you must be an experienced desktop support engineer with very strong technical skills, who wants to further develop their specialist knowledge in a Microsoft environment with a strong customer service ethos. The role is part of a large support team with collective responsibility for delivery of excellent services to customers.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience of:
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft SCCM
- ServiceNow ITSM
- Windows 10 maintenance, deployment and updates
- Microsoft Server 2012 and above
- Virtualisation technologies (i.e. VMWare vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V)
- Azure Active Directory including GPO’s
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
- MSI software packaging
- Powershell scripting
- Office 365 administration
- VOIP and softphone telephony
- Microsoft applications including Microsoft Teams

Ideally you will have experience of working in a busy and demanding IT environment with a structured IT Service Management System for logging and managing incidents and a thorough understanding of ITIL standards.
