Due to the expansion of our in house project "AXIS" we are excited to be seeking new members to join the team.

Located within Hillingdon's Children Social Care Directorate the AXIS project plays a pivotal role in working with partner agencies to identify and work with individuals at at risk of exploitation. Utilising a comprehensive analytical system to ensure resources are targeted to the right people, at the right time and in the right places. The project has worked with over 300 children and in January 2019 was described by OFSTED as "AXIS is everything that everything else isn't".

As an AXIS Case Worker, you will manage a caseload of children at risk of exploitation. You will be in out in the community and in our schools engaging with children at risk demonstrating passion, drive and resilience to support change.

About you

Successful candidates will have experience and knowledge based on working with children at risk. You will have demonstrable experience of delivering tailored, evidence-based interventions to children and parents . Those appointed will exhibit excellent partnership working, understand safeguarding legislation (The Children's Act 1989) and be able to confidentiality manage information.

Proposed interview dates: 4th and 5th February 2021
