The Planning Policy and Digital Transformation Officer roles are to work on housing and monitoring, digital, energy, design and monitoring for the Team Leader.
This role will involve research, monitoring, partnership working and working with consultants as well as working on the Local Plan.
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of planning policy particularly an understanding of strategic planning issues, how to research them and explain them in planning policies and excellent digital skills as the candidates will be working on digital transformations.
The Transport Policy Team are looking for a Graduate Transport Planner. The post is located in the Planning Division which is part of the Chief Executive's Department of Southwark Council.
The team leads the Council's thinking on the movement of people, and how we can shape the quality of place and improve the experience within it.
We design and monitor transport policies, assess planning applications for the impact on the transport environment and develop projects to deliver transport improvements across the borough.
To support your growth as a transport planner there will be opportunities for both in house and external training. Southwark is a central London borough which is changing rapidly being at the centre of a dynamic world city.

About the Role As a graduate transport planner, you will be working with Transport Planners, Engineers, Project Managers, Planners and Elected members for the development and review of transport strategies , major transport projects and providing transport input for planning applications.
You will support the operational delivery of the Transport Policy team by assisting transport planners in the management of project programmes. You will also support Transport Planners with the preparation of projects, strategies and consultation.
We want to develop you and provide training and support to increase skills and experience within a very experienced Transport team.
