Croydon Council has an ambitious vision and priority to become a truly digital Council and borough and has recently invested in upgrading its Corporate ERP System to Oracle Cloud Fusion which is used for the Councils Finance, Purchasing, HR and Payroll services, this system is known as My Resources.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team (8 people) providing high quality application support for My Resources.

As Senior Functional ERP Specialist you will report to the Oracle Cloud-Fusion Application Support Manager.

Using your excellent application support skills, and experience of Oracle Fusion, you will ensure that My Resources is supported, maintained and developed efficiently and effectively.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance modules including: AR, AP, Cash Management, Collections, Expenses, GL, Projects, Purchasing, iProcurement, iSupplier.

As Senior Functional ERP Specialist you will be the Support Team Module leading will supervise and develop the Oracle Cloud-Fusion P2P and Financial Analysts

You will play a key role in the application of monthly updates and quarterly releases ensuring engagement with business users and timely testing and implementation of updates/releases is undertaken.

You will demonstrate good knowledge of reporting and data extraction tools (OTBI, BIP, FRS, Smartview, Dashboards), and data upload tools (e.g. FBDI, ADFDI).

You will use your strong understanding of user access, roles and data security, and business process flows (BPM) to support the workflow, approvals and notifications in the application.

You will understand the system implications of Information governance issues including segregation of duties, data protection, GDPR, freedom of information and data security.

As Senior Functional ERP Specialist you will develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external customers, Oracle Support and other 3^rd parties providing support to the council.

You will lead support team projects so any experience of managing projects and of project management methods and tools e.g. Agile, will be useful.
