1:1 Midday Assistant to support a child with medical needs
Hours: 5 hours 50 minutes per week (11:55am - 1:05pm)
Grade: APTC 3 points 5-6
Salary: £22,185 - £22,587 full time equivalent salary per annum
Contract: Temporary with a named pupil
Start Date: As soon as possible

An opportunity has arisen for a Midday Assistant to join our current enthusiastic and friendly team, to support a pupil with special educational and physical needs during the lunch hour.
The successful candidate will be:
- A committed and enthusiastic team member to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis to help make lunchtimes a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Able to assess risks and support the child to avert these
- Warm and caring, developing positive relationships with pupils.
- Proactive in promoting social skills and collaboration.
A first aid qualification, including Buccal Midazolam administration is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
