If your answer is YES– then this could be for you
The Thames Federation is recruiting an Executive Headteacher. This is a relatively new role and is therefore an opportunity for an individual who is keen to embrace the challenge of shaping the future direction of three maintained schools in the Federation, namely Melcombe Primary School, Bayonne Nursery and James Lee Nursery. This is a strategic post: the successful candidate needs to have strong senior leadership experience, preferably at Headteacher level, with the skills and attributes to be innovative and creative, in order to develop robust systems and structures that deliver a high quality educational experience for all of the children in the three schools.
Why work for the Thames Federation?
The Thames Federation consists of one maintained primary school and two maintained nursery schools in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. This is an exciting opportunity to build a successful federation of schools, the first of its kind in Hammersmith and Fulham.
CLOSING DATE: 12 noon, Friday 4th December 2020. Governors will carry out shortlisting activities on 8th December 2020. Successful candidates will be informed on 9th December 2020
INTERVIEW DATE: 15th December 2020 at Melcombe Primary School; if Covid-19 arrangements allow, there will be an opportunity to visit the schools with governors on the afternoon of 14th December 2020.
The Thames Federation values the diversity of our workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
This Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people and expects all members of staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for all posts.
