Senior EHC Coordinator

Full Time Permanent

Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the City.

Are you an experienced EHCP co-ordinator looking for your next step or an established senior SEND professional looking for a new challenge?

Do you have a commitment to building customer-focussed teams?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the SEND 0-13 Assessment team as a hub team leader reporting to the SEN Assessment Team Manager.

Redbridge’s newly re-structured SEND 0-13 service is made up of 3 teams of EHC Coordinators. Your role as hub team leader is to supervise the EHCP Coordinators and ensure a quality service to the children and young people who are allocated to your sub team.  Your team will work with a range of education and training providers, negotiating arrangements and support for children aged 0 – 13 years.

We’ll look to you to support your team in their responsibilities as well as undertaking complex case work yourself.

You will need to be well-organised, responsive and have an approach which inspires others.
