Salary: HOS3 £75,579 to £91,776
X1 Permanent, Full time (36 hours) position
With the future of major regeneration programmes now sitting within the outer London Boroughs there is no better time to join Enfield Council.
Our flagship regeneration programme is Meridian Water, the £6 billion regeneration of an 85- hectare site; our delivery approach is without precedent – The Council has taken control and will act as Master Developer for the site -37 hectares of land have been acquired, £170million of infrastructure funding has been secured from government, planning obtained for 3,000 homes and a partner for the first 725 -1000 homes has been selected.
We now require a dynamic Commercial Director for Meridian Water.
The delivery of Meridian Water demonstrates Enfield’s ambitions as a local authority. It must be holistic, it must involve all stakeholders and it must promote successful placemaking.
The role is a big one, and essential to achieving the Council’s ambitious objectives. We need someone who is passionate, ambitious, strategic, and delivery focussed.
You will lead on the commercial and financial aspects of a £6bn of strategic investment, development and regeneration of land, property, housing development and infrastructure assets. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Meridian Water financial model, negotiating all contracts with residential developers, and leading all strategic housing work.
We require someone who understands the multitudinous components that are needed to create great places and someone who has a track record of delivering both service and culture change.
