Salary range: £30,048 p.a. inc.

Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2021
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

The Post

We are looking to recruit 5 Covid 19 Regulatory Support Officers to provide advice and guidance such as social distancing and wearing a face covering to the public and businesses owners, to keep our high streets Covid secure. The role will offer hand sanitiser, leaflets and information to ensure the public are aware of any temporary changes to our shopping areas and to support the safest possible use of the borough’s high streets.

The Person

The role would suit a friendly, personable and helpful individual, someone who enjoys contact and can engage with the public and working in the outdoors.

The threats posed by Covid 19 are rapidly changing so the ability to understand new rules and communicate these to the Borough’s diverse community is essential to this role.

The post holders will need to be of good health and able to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends.
