The Assets and Property function strives to be the best in class for operational service delivery across the range of services that it delivers to its Council tenants and leaseholders. As with many landlords in recent times, there has been a strong focus on Health and Safety in particular Fire Safety.
The journey continues as we strive to build on the progress made. The next milestone on that journey is to recruit to a number of key positions within the service. We are looking for high calibre individuals who relish the challenge of change management, will lead from the front, are focussed on delivering great outcomes and the best customer experience.
Fire Safety management is a key priority for the Council and we have invested significantly in driving through the essential improvements necessary to provide reassurance to our residents. The journey of improvement doesn’t stop there. With new legislation on the horizon, the Fire Safety Team at Ealing will continue to rise to the challenges ahead. You will be at the heart of ensuring that the service meets and exceeds the statutory standards required alongside the mobilisation of new contractors delivering an annual £4 million Fire Safety improvement programme. You will be at the forefront of the delivery of this programme overseeing the quality assurance of the works and supporting the successful management of the contractors.
