Team Manager - Placements, Contact and Support
The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Access to Resources (ART) Service for a Team Manager - Placements, Contact and Support Team
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking to help us manage the Placements, Contact and Support Team.
The Placements team offers a vigorous approach to identifying placements for children with the intention of providing greater stability with less moves for children placed.
We are constantly aiming to improve the quality of matching and while driving reductions in unnecessary spend.
In addition the Contact and Support Service facilitates contact at crucial moments in the lives of children and their families and has also been supporting families in the community and in their homes.
Ideally you will be a Qualified Social Worker with relevant management experience.
You will be an excellent communicator both with colleagues across children's services and with external providers.
You will be able to use your experience, skills and knowledge of relevant legislation to help others and achieve positive outcomes for the children and families in Southwark.
