1:1 Midday Assistant to support a child with medical needs
Hours: 5 hours per week (12:00 - 1:00pm)
Grade: APTC 3 points 5-6
Salary: £22,185 - £22,587 full time equivalent salary per annum
Contract: Temporary with a named pupil
Start Date: tbc until July 2021 (to be reviewed)

An opportunity has arisen for a 1:1 SEN Midday Assistant to join our current enthusiastic and friendly team. You will be supporting a child who has complex medical needs. Experience of using a feeding pump is preferable although full training will be given.
The successful candidate will be:
- A committed and enthusiastic team member to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis to help make lunchtimes a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Warm and caring, developing positive relationships will pupils.
- Proactive in promoting social skills and collaboration.
A first aid qualification is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
