Cleaner (Facilities Support Role A)
Job introduction
We are looking for a hard-working and motivated Cleaner to join our Facilities Team in our friendly, one form entry primary school. You will be working all around the school, ensuring that our premises are cleaned to a high standard. The role will mostly focus on cleaning the toilets during the school lunchbreak, wiping down touchpoints and surfaces around the corridors.
Paid weeks per year: 44.65 inclusive of holiday entitlement
Fixed term: Until August 2021
Start date: As soon as possible

The successful candidate will need:
- A positive attitude and a friendly disposition
- An ability to work with initiative and enthusiasm
- The ability to work well within a team
- A calm, professional approach, especially when dealing with challenging situations
- Ability to use own initiative, anticipating and reacting to situations as they arise
- An absolute ability to maintain confidentiality
- Physical fitness, encompassing the ability to bend, stretch, lean, reach, carry heavy and awkward items and operate vacuum cleaners and floor mops
- The ability to work flexible hours
- Willingness to undertake necessary tasks of an unpleasant nature

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.
