Policy Officer

Hexagon Housing owns and manages over 4000 general needs homes in South-East London.  We take pride in providing high quality services to our customers, are committed to raising the quality of our services and putting residents at the heart of what we do

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join us as our Policy Officer.

This is an ideal opportunity to establish yourself in a welcoming and innovative Organisation, helping to deliver our Corporate Objectives by developing, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures.  You will work closely with operational managers and develop creative solutions to policy issues.

The work can be challenging, so we have some minimum requirements, including:

  • A background in Policy Development within a public sector setting.
  • Knowledge of major factors, influences, regulation and legislation relating to housing policy.
  • An understanding of the public policy context in which Hexagon operates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive “can do” attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
