Driver Installer, Grade 5 (£24,903 - £25,809) ( 200000M4)
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to be part of the Customer Service team, receiving service referrals and reviewing equipment orders and requests from professional staff. The roles will also co-ordinate the scheduling of equipment and service delivery with vulnerable clients and the various company delivery teams.
CES operates within Croydon Council as a stand-alone commercial business competing against other private sector providers.
The Community Equipment Service provides a vital service to residents, enabling them to maintain their independence at home. Through commercial contract partnerships with other local authorities we enable over 100,000 deliveries a year of essential pieces of health and social care related equipment. We are proud of our track record in delivering innovative commercial solutions which provide cost savings to ten local authorities, enabling resources to go further.
We have an exciting vision for future growth in our business plan delivering year on year commercial growth for our business. Our key development areas include new commercial contracts with public sector organisations and the development of a nationwide retail equipment & services business.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Good written communication skills, with ability to provide clear and unambiguous advice on care issues and not use jargon.
- Ability to carry out administrative tasks.
- Collaborative team working skills, with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Past experience in Customer-focussed service and/or people care
- Past experience with working on client or stock database systems
