Home Energy Efficiency Project Manager
Job introduction
As Home Energy Efficiency Project Manager you will be responsible for project and programme management of a range of energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives across the Council's own housing stock. You will play a key role in supporting and assisting the delivery of the Corporate Plan and wider Housing Strategy, specifically in helping the Council meet it's aim to be carbon neutral by 2030 and tackling fuel poverty in the city.
Working in the Housing Sustainability & Affordable Warmth Team you will primarily be based at the Housing Centre in Moulsecoomb, Brighton, but with flexibility to work at other Council offices across the City and some home working.

About the role
The post holder will lead on the establishment, delivery and management of a wide range of renewable and energy efficiency projects across the Council's housing stock. Including the delivery and presentation of business cases, leading on procurement activity, contract management, budget monitoring, performance monitoring and reporting.
You will provide technical advice and support to colleagues across housing delivering planned works, major projects and new homes in the city.
You will support and assist delivery of Corporate Plan priorities including; Zero Carbon & Circular Economy ambitions, Housing Strategy, and Fuel Poverty & Affordable Warmth Strategy objectives.
You will take a lead role in the review and delivery of the HRA Energy Strategy and associated action plan.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
