Technical Surveyor
About the role:
We are recruiting an experienced Surveyor to join us on a permanent and full-time basis. Whilst undertaking regular duties such as property and site inspections, compliance and asset management, you’ll also be expected to manage a portfolio of projects and reviews and lead on specific projects as required. You will need to work in partnership with our contractors to ensure that these projects are successfully delivered to agreed standards, within budget and on time.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will be a dedicated person with a strong commitment to the delivery of high-quality services and extensive experience in housing projects and regeneration settings. Your customer service skills are equally important, including the ability to communicate well with people from all backgrounds, at all levels, including tenants, leaseholders, contractors and stakeholders. A Building or Surveyor qualification, computer literacy, and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads are essential requirements of this role.
About SW9 Community Housing
SW9 Community Housing is a resident-led social housing charity responsible for the delivery of housing management and maintenance services for around 1,800 homes and several commercial and community buildings in Stockwell/Brixton on behalf of a G15 Housing Association, Network Homes. Being a community-based organisation, we are seeking to recruit a Technical Surveyor to work as a key member of a team responsible for the day to day repairs, void management, Health & Safety FRA’s and maintenance work through the management of SW9’s external contracts. With a turnover of £7.7m, and rising, and in excess of £150million of inward investment provided by Network Homes over the last 10 years. We have ambitious plans for the future, and we want a like-minded visionary to join us on this journey.
