It’s an exciting time as we shape our future as one of London’s leading housing associations. We are an entrepreneurial social business with real commercial sense. Our home ownership team manages over 16,000 properties and is an award winning service that is passionate about creating places for residents to love where they live

We’re looking for driven and creative Senior Property Management Officers with great relationship building, communication and problem solving skills.  We have a number of permanent and fixed term contract roles available to support our teams to provide services to our leasehold residents.  The profile of properties is varied and exciting – from smaller street properties to iconic new developments across London, you will need to be live to different challenges as they are presented.

This role would be ideal for someone who has exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, experience delivering end-to-end projects requiring dynamic problem solving and is motivated by providing an excellent service to the end user.  You will have the ability to drive quick, informed decisions, work under pressure and demonstrate excellent resilience often delivering difficult news.

Experience in managing leasehold projects is preferred, but we are excited to hear from talented Team Leaders, Project Managers and Property Managers and will support you to gain the necessary technical skills and qualifications.  You should therefore have enthusiasm for personal and professional growth and development.

In this role you will be reporting to a Leasehold Manager and your role will vary to meet the needs of the business.  You may also be expected to report into other managers for specific tasks or projects. You may be asked to manage a particularly challenging portfolio of properties or you may be asked to carry out projects that support the work of our teams. You may also have to balance managing your own portfolio whilst supporting our Property Management Officers in their learning and development.  In some cases you may be expected to line manage Property Management Officers or other staff to support them to reach their objectives.

Your exceptional organisational skills will be strategically deployed across the service to trouble-shoot and problem-solve our most challenging issues. You will have the tenacity and enthusiasm to plan your work effectively, set clear milestones and drive projects through to completion.   Keeping stakeholders in the loop and working effectively with a variety of key people both internally and externally with your exceptional communication skills will be key.

As well as providing a service that puts our residents at the heart of everything we do, you will be expected to play a key part in driving the long term success of the department.  This will be through various initiatives and projects across the service and wider organisation.  You will work closely with other internal departments and be expected to work collaboratively across the whole organisation to both represent Leasehold Services and drive our overall success.

We will be looking to you to set the highest standards in the service we provide our residents and be a role model to our PMOs.  It is a varied and rewarding role and crucial to our long term vision of providing a compliant, professional and customer focused property management and leasehold service.

Please Note:

  • Senior Property Management Officers may be asked to manage specific properties or assist particular teams for a limited period to achieve a goal.  This role may require people or project management as required.
