About the role

Be responsible for the local authority's work strand in challenging and supporting a group of link Primary and Special Schools, being a member of the Education Improvement and Partnership Service.

About you

The role of the Lead Adviser is predicated on the understanding that the post holder will have significant 'link school' responsibilities in allocated schools. They will also lead and take individual responsibility in local projects and line-manage another colleague or external consultants when required. They will have a credible expertise in a particular strand or phase of school education, with a commitment to performing a leading operational role in the delivery of the Council's objectives and be an expert representative of the Council's views and decisions.
