Notting Hill Genesis has a fantastic opportunity for two General Assistants to join our team providing support at one of our supported Housing schemes in the Essex area.

We have two posts available - both vacancies are an excellent opportunity if you live in Southend/Rochford area of Essex:
* A permanent General Assistant position at £12,573 per annum for 26 hours per week, working across four schemes in Rochford, Rayleigh and Southend-on-Sea.
* A permanent General Assistant position at £7,253 per annum for 15 hours per week, working at a scheme in Rochford.
The role involves being responsible for day-to-day cleanliness and hygiene of the communal areas of the scheme. You will be required to work within a scheme supporting older people so will need to demonstrate a customer focused approach and ensure the residents safety. You will be responsible for cleaning all the communal areas for our residents. You will ensure the scheme is kept clean and tidy and ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to.
You will also work with the Leasehold Officer and could be asked to cover in the office in the office in their absence. You will be on hand to support the residents as well as flagging safeguarding issues if they arise. Working with customers to resolve enquires on Service Charge enquires and support the day to day running of the scheme.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a Care and Support capacity and have experience of working in a customer service environment. You will have proven experience of routine cleaning and be able to manage and prioritise your workload.
You will need to have a driving licence and own a car to be able to travel between sites for this role.
