The successful candidate will join the Business Intelligence & Systems Team and will work across a range of Council services which Include Housing & Leasehold Management, Repairs and Maintenance, Asset Management and Income Collection.

In addition, you will be required to manage projects and produce meaningful management information using data extraction tools, together with detailed analysis.  The position will require the successful candidate to build strong relations with stakeholders to promote the use of data.  The candidate will also be responsible for managing the performance framework, using business intelligence to monitor service delivery and provide customer insight.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and analysing a wide range of quantitative and qualitative business intelligence data to support planning and performance management, including an ability to write comprehensive reports.
  • To provide reports with periodic performance statistics data and analysis
  • Ensure data held on systems is accurate and up to date and implement projects to improve data accuracy and quality.
  • To have a good understanding of housing stock, its survey, maintenance and improvement.
  • Scrutiny and interpretation of data and management information.

About You

The postholder will need excellent analytic skills, be proactive and solution orientated.  Have the confidence to communicate with officers at all level in the authority, external partners and other parties to deliver the best outcomes.
