Operational Manager - Environmental Services

You will have… experience of driving excellence in customer service delivery in estate services and leading change including new ways of working.
You will have proven experience of leading, managing and coordinating the work of dispersed teams, encouraging and guiding them to deliver a proactive, flexible, customer-focused and cost-effective service.
You will have experience of working and negotiating with contractors, contract management and driving high standards of performance against targets.
You take initiative and responsibility in managing complex workloads and take ownership to find solutions and prevent problems from reoccurring.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with a wide range of audiences, including individual customers, residents’ groups and stakeholders.
You will be a confident IT user and be able to travel efficiently across the THCH stock and attend evening meetings.
What you will be doing… you will lead on the monitoring and management of the in-house estate cleaning team and outsourced estate contracts to ensure the highest quality estates service is delivered, meets its targets, delivers value for money and customer satisfaction.
You will lead on overseeing, monitoring, managing and developing the in-house cleaning service. You will drive and imbed change and continuous improvement.
You will ensure a safe, clean and high-quality external environment on estates and other locations is achieved.
You will ensure compliance with health and safety provisions and relevant legislation to the service.
