Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) is one of London’s leading housing associations employing over 2,000 people.  

We are excited to announce a new role as IT Application Systems Manager to join our IT department leading the applications team.  This is an opportunity to use extensive knowledge and understanding of on premise and cloud based solutions to maintain and enhance our business critical applications. These include our core case management system Dynamics 365 and SharePoint systems  as well as other business system in the enterprise.

You will be the face of the IT Application Team ensuring strong relationships are developed and maintained between customers and IT as well as productive relationships with senior management team at all levels.  This includes developing a high performing team which is customer focused and data led for delivery and being the business partner for all IT services.

It will be your responsibility to ensure existing and new applications are robust and fit for purpose. You will, therefore, need to demonstrate a track record of successfully delivering within complex technology projects, using standard prince 2, Agile and scrum methodologies and have experience providing 2nd and 3rd line support for Microsoft applications within a Service Desk or Application Support environment.

Working with a combination of internal and external resources, you will ensure our applications are developed and maintained within agreed Service Level Agreement’s and you will hold our 3rd party suppliers to account – monitoring quality and value for money.

Working closely with the Head of IT Systems, Data and Cyber Security, you will help define strategy for the systems team and help support the digital development team in delivering core product to customers.

To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrable experience of:

  • Working with, and a detailed understanding of, Dynamics CRM, Azure, SQL Server, MS SharePoint, and Data Integration Technologies
  • Working in collaboration with 3rd parties to deliver technology change
  • Working within projects providing technical expertise and experience
  • Experience/understanding of how IT support works
  • Full line management experience, including setting objectives; development plans; wellbeing and performance management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal when presenting information
