St Paul’s Way Trust School, in association with Queen Mary University of London, is seeking to appoint an outstanding qualified Teacher of History.
St Paul’s Way Trust School, in association with Queen Mary, University of London, seek to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The main purpose of this post is to provide support for students, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all students, to encourage them to become independent learners, to ensure their safety and welfare, and support the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life.
Cover supervisors play an important role in developing teaching and learning in the school. Supervising whole classes during the short term absence of teachers, Cover Supervisors will give instruction for the lesson as provided by a teacher and the primary focus of the role will be to maintain high expectations of learning and behaviour. Candidates should have excellent organisational ability, be able to establish strong relationships with students and staff, and be able to create a settled, orderly atmosphere in the classroom.
In March 2013, Ofsted described the school as ‘Outstanding’ in every category, including the VI Form. The school was commended for its “relentless pursuit of scholarship and excellence”. We are entering our third year as a National Teaching School. Our award winning new building is situated in the heart of East London. Professor Brian Cox OBE is our Patron.
If you would like to play your part in contributing to the outstanding provision for our students, we would very much like to hear from you.
