Due to recent growth, we are recruiting two Cyclical Surveyors / Asset Surveyors to develop and deliver planned maintenance projects to time, budget, resident satisfaction and quality whilst meeting all statutory and business compliance requirements. We are looking for hard-working, passionate and driven individuals who are motivated by innovation. We require a well-developed level of technical building knowledge, good knowledge and understanding of building regulations and statutory requirements. The role covers the full geographical spread of the stock (mainly Oxford and Staines) but may be focused on an area such as London. Driving is an essential requirement; you must have your own car and clean driving licence.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to;
Effectively plan, procure and manage projects to agreed service levels, ensuring works carried out meet the Group's quality requirements and stakeholder expectations.
To undertake condition surveys to capture defects, produce reports and action plans considering latest sustainability standards and performance specifications.
To assist in maintaining the groups' asset database by regularly reviewing and updating existing data and carrying out value for money exercises to achieve business objectives.
To be able to assess, control, manage and mitigate risk.
Effectively monitor KPI's and implement action plans.
To ensure policies and existing procedures are followed and suggest areas for improvement to deliver Asset Management objectives including sustainability and 'Fit for the Future' key strategic aims.
Managing cyclical and/or major works programmes to residents' homes in a Social Housing Partnering Environment.
Ability to research and implement sustainability & energy saving measures in Cyclical & Major Works projects.
Excellent working IT knowledge including Microsoft Office.
