This post is based in the Health and Sports Development team within Culture and Leisure Services. As part of the Health and Wellbeing section, the Health and Sports Development team is responsible for providing a sports development programme across the borough; delivering a sports and physical activity programme in conjunction with Public Health, organising and entering sports events including London Youth Games and Panathlon; supporting the development of clubs and volunteers and working with National Governing Bodies, clubs, the School Sports Collective and other partners to develop sports pathways for young people

Sports Coach/Activity Lead

£12.57-£13.74per hour

In this role you will work as a coach or activity leader, on a casual basis, to assist the Health and Sports Development team deliver a programme of sport and physical activities. This includes activities such as school holiday sports programmes, events and project based work. Rates of pay depend on qualifications and experience

The post holder must hold at least one National Governing Body coaching award and have previous experience of coaching and organising activities. Experience of inclusive and disability sport would be an advantage.
