A significant part of our work is focused on creating stronger communities, by working together with local residents on recovery following the Grenfell tragedy.

In response to London’s affordable homes crisis, we are committed to building more social housing to help people on lower incomes to live, work, and raise their families in the borough. Our housing team also work closely with affordable housing providers and other agencies to manage homelessness and give support to older residents to live independently.  Find out more about our vacancies here.

You’ll also be responsible for maximising income due to the council while focussing on prevention, early intervention and support, plus real customer satisfaction and resident engagement.

You’ll bring a wide range of skills and experience to the role, including a strong track record of performance management as well as expertise in income collection and debt reduction in a social housing context. You should also be experienced in planning campaigns to promote financial inclusion, involving residents and actively promoting equality and diversity.

Alongside this, you’ll be adept in forging productive working relationships with a variety of contacts, using these connections to make your strategies a success. You should also have a good knowledge of employment and training initiatives that will support residents to realise their ambitions.
