To achieve this, we want to recruit and retain excellent social workers who will support the development of our next generation of citizens in Tower Hamlets. We are looking for experienced social work professionals with a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience to join the MASH, Assessment or Child Protection teams.

The successful candidates will join small team hubs of 6 social workers and led by a Team Manager. We are committed to Restorative Practice and need exceptional social workers who are committed to embedding this model of working.

The Post

Social Worker

Salary range: £34,128 - £44,373 pa. inclusive of LW

Contract: Permanent

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

The Person

  • Have you got a current HCPC registration?

  • Do you have a minimum of two year’s post ASYE social work experience?

  • Are you able to analyse information accurately and be able to critically evaluate risk?

  • Can you build good working relationships with external agencies, community groups and individuals?

  • Do you have the skills to understand others points of view, with the ability to adapt and empathise and make informed decisions?
