Electoral Services Officer

Salary: Scale 6 £27,228.00 - £29,241.00

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Location: Enfield Civic Centre

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person capable of dealing with a busy and varied workload. You must be able to work flexibly, as during election periods you will be expected to work additional hours including evenings and weekends.

About you

You will be a confident proactive individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. You must be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to deliver high quality work within strict deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills including knowledge of using Electoral Services software such as Xpress or equivalent.
  • knowledge and understanding would be desirable of the Electoral Services processes.
  • Ability to be able to respond to pressure at peak times

You will also be involved in other aspects of our work including some outreach work to encourage elector registration and participation.

In addition to the salary above there are likely to be additional fee payments at election time.
