The Council invests millions of pounds each year into its housing assets, and it is imperative that its strategic investment decisions and commissioning functions are effective. This has become even more acute following the introduction of a range of legislative and national policy decisions that will have a significant impact on the Housing Revenue Account (HRA). The correct decision making tools and intelligence must be used to inform strategic investment decisions and affordability, whilst effective commissioning will ensure value for money from both internal and contracted services.

Building Surveyor/Project Manager
£42,681 - £45,585 pa

We are looking for a talented candidate to take the role of Building Surveyor/Project Manager, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team ensuring the value of the housing stock is maintained and residents safety is addressed.

You will undertake Project Management duties to schemes within the Councils Capital Programme including tall block refurbishment and low rise cyclical decorations. Manage RMS to deliver on the councils internal modernisation programme within timeframe and budget.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of construction and construction contracts, and able to demonstrate a track record of successfully delivering capital projects

Significant client side project management and partnering experience, Building surveying and financial monitoring
