Building Surveyor/Project Manager
Newham is a unique and vibrant place to work. The borough is one of the most diverse places in the world, and has the youngest population in the country.
The Council invests millions of pounds each year into its housing assets, and it is imperative that its strategic investment decisions and commissioning functions are effective. This has become even more acute following the introduction of a range of legislative and national policy decisions that will have a significant impact on the Housing Revenue Account (HRA). The correct decision making tools and intelligence must be used to inform strategic investment decisions and affordability, whilst effective commissioning will ensure value for money from both internal and contracted services.
