Financial Business Intelligence Officer
Grade 5:-£27,228 - £30,213
We are seeking a Financial Business Intelligence Officer to work within the Joint Commissioning Unit with a specific focus on Children’s Social Care finance. You should ideally have experience of working in a finance role with excellent attention to detail. You’ll have strong computer literacy and will be quick to understand new processes and systems. With strong communication skills, you’ll be self-motivated, personable, organised, punctual, and professional.
Whilst the role sits within Commissioning there is not a need for this knowledge. However, knowledge or experience of Social Care services and Social Care ICT systems would be desirable (though not essential). As a member of the wider team you will be expected to actively promote the core values of the Joint Commissioning Unit, to encourage communication and excellence.
Supporting the Financial Business Intelligence Manager and colleagues in Children’s Services with day to day financial management and monthly forecasting of Social Care.
To be considered for the position, you must be a fast worker with the ability to multi-task. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and experience:
- Experience of finance i.e. payments, budget monitoring, forecasting or financial analysis
- Excellent numeracy and problem solving skills with great attention to detail
- Fully proficient in the use of all Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Extremely self-motivated and pro-active
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service
