(6-month fixed term – with potential extension for 12 months)

About the role:

This post offers an excellent opportunity to develop a blend of skills. The role will involve providing project management and co-ordination to support the councils Vulnerable Person’s Resettlement Scheme (VPRS) which currently aims to resettle refuges affected by the Syrian conflict. This role will involve supporting with a wide range of project related activities, liaising extensively with commissioned providers and internal services, including statutory partners and central government, ensuring the programme aims and objectives are delivered

About you:

You will play a crucial role in providing effective co-ordination and administrative support, helping us in delivering the gold standard service that has earned us such a good reputation council wide. You should have strong written and verbal communications skills as well as the ability to organise and co-ordinate meetings and managing project plans, risks and issues logs.
