Right now, Holder House, Richmond Fellowship’s mental health registered care home in Abingdon, is looking for the right people to join their  team as Casual Recovery Workers .

    • You'll be caring, consistent, flexible, enthusiastic, compassionate, creative and, like us, keen to break down the stigma of mental health
    • You are happy working both independently and as a valued member of our team
    • You work well under pressure
    • You know how to connect with people at all levels
    • You'll be provided with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills by taking on extra responsibilities
    • You'll enter accurate case notes onto our IT system, lead group activities, cook house meals with residents and dispense medication

You’ll ensure our residents:

    • Are at the heart of everything we do
    • Lead their own recovery and are involved in the decisions that affect their lives
    • Follow their support plan, designed to meet their specific needs
    • Achieve their goals and aspirations
    • Develop their life skills
    • Are motivated to achieve greater independence and access a range of work, leisure or educational opportunities too
    • Access the full range of services by liaising with mental health teams, GP surgeries, the local council and charities etc

    • Hourly rate of £9.21
    • Sleep allowance (11pm to 8am) of £70.47
