Can you bring an innovative approach to our fire safety team? Are you an experienced leader?

Notting Hill Genesis is one of London’s leading Housing Associations. We manage and maintain over 55,000 excellent quality homes for Londoners who could not otherwise afford them.

Are you up for a challenge? We are looking for you to join us as Head of Assets - Fire Safety Programme Management. You will be responsible for leading our team to ensure that fire safety works to NHG homes are carried out to the highest specifications and completed on time and within budget. You will ensure NHG systems and processes work efficiently and are followed. You will procure services from external consultants and contractors and identify and drive ongoing continuous improvement, to support the programme delivery.

We need your ability to manage and lead by example and inspire others as well as building working relationships across the organisation. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate technical and project management experience in the field of Health and Safety along with the ability to manage and motivate a team working on complex building remediation projects.

Communication and collaboration are crucial in this role and you’ll act as the key liaison between business areas. You will need to be highly organised, have a robust work methodology, build and strengthen relationships with colleagues across NHG to support the delivery of our Asset objectives. This is an exciting time to join NHG as we go through the process of modernising the way we work and the services we provide. We look forward to hearing from you.

In return we offer you 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), health cash plan, season ticket loan, tenancy deposit loan, cycle 2 work scheme, childcare vouchers, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer.

Applications for this role close at midday on 13th December 2019. Short listed candidates will be invited to interview and assessments on 19th or 20th December 2019.
