Job Details

Enfield is a diverse London borough with excellent links to the city and central areas as well as Hertfordshire and Essex. This includes Meridian Water which has Housing Zone status where upwards of 12000 new homes and 5000 jobs will be created. We are also well placed to maximize growth opportunity of Crossrail 2 with both proposed branches located within the borough.

We have experienced a significant rise in planning enquiries and with the Council’s own ambitious agenda for regeneration, including a number of significant estate regeneration schemes, it is important we are able to maintain our commitment to proactive engagement to achieve sustainable development of the highest standard.

The Development Management Service has been strengthened to achieve these challenges with the creation of a special projects team to deliver certain key regeneration objectives. This will ensure well designed sustainable developments which make a positive contribution to the Borough, its people and environment are delivered.

If you are interested in contributing towards us meeting this challenge, we have a number of positions available for you to join a friendly and hardworking team.

These are rewarding roles which are key to the performance of the Service and the successful regeneration of the Borough with emphasis placed on the delivery of high quality outcomes through a coordinated approach to the assessment of development proposals.
