Job Introduction

We wish to recruit a part-time Cleaner.

In our last Ofsted inspection in Nov 2013, St. Luke’s received an ‘Outstanding’ judgement in all areas. Singled out for praise were the behaviour and learning attitudes of the children and the quality of the teaching. Therefore, we strongly believe that St. Luke’s is an excellent environment for all staff to feel excited by their work and to continue to learn, whatever their level of experience.

The Head teacher and Governing Body are looking to appoint a flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our team as a Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets.

A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable.

If you are interested in applying for this position but would like more information, please ring the school and ask to talk to the Headteacher, Jonathan Cooper. Visits are most welcome and can be organised via our administrators, Sandra Smith or Lisa Miller.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.

From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
