Safeguarding children and adults at risk is everyone’s responsibility, but this role is pivotal in ensuring that we keep all our residents safe.  This role will require the following:

  • Provide leadership and independent oversight of safeguarding of children, young people and adults; including our residents, staff, and volunteers.
  • Have direct responsibility for enhancing the operational and overall effectiveness of our safeguarding responsibilities and practices across the organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across NHG to implement the safeguarding delivery plan, and also liaise with external authorities and forums.

You will have a strong knowledge of safeguarding best practice, legal and statutory national guidance and be able to demonstrate this knowledge by ensuring compliance in NHG’s policies, procedures and practice.

This is a challenging and rewarding role. You’ll need to be adept at partnership working, policy development and developing and delivering training.

If this sounds like the challenge you’re looking for we’d love to hear from you.

In return we offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave, health cash plan, season ticket loan, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer as well as other benefits packages.
