The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to the lives of Children and Young People in Camden.

We are recruiting a Project Manager to join the Children’s Integrated Commissioning team within the Supporting People Directorate to work across projects related to the children’s commissioning portfolio of work. The role will involve delivering support to commissioning projects and services related to children and young people with SEND and complex physical health, mental health and/or behavioural needs. The successful candidate will work flexibly across a variety of projects, managing and leading the successful delivery of improvement and change projects.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

About you

The successful candidate will have the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders from multiagency areas of work and be confident in working to challenging deadlines. They will demonstrate adaptable skills, knowledge, and commitment as required to meet the demands of the key accountabilities.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of project managing and managing the commissioning cycle, as well as relevant professional experience, such as working in health or social care services, commissioning or social work.

We require a candidate who is skilled at communicating to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a way that builds understanding and support across health, education and social care. Engaging service users, parents and carers will also be a vital part of the role. You will also need to possess negotiation and influencing skills, and have excellent ability to analyse and evaluate information and have an adaptable and resilient personality that thrives under pressure and are able to go the extra mile to achieve outstanding results.
