Assistant Management Accountant
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our small but very active Finance Team. You will be required to assist the Management Accountant in the production of accurate and timely management accounts, operational budgets, and the maintenance of the nominal ledger.
You will also lead on the production of our small profit orientated subsidiary, monthly management, and annual statutory accounts. In addition to this, you will gain valuable experience in providing accounting services for a small Almshouse we manage, in the preparation of budgets, management and statutory accounts – all this under the guidance of the Management Accountant.
Studying towards an AAT, ACCA, CIMA or similar recognised professional accounting qualification, you will be a good communicator, with a proven track record of effective handling of high volumes of data and documents.
We would expect applicants to have proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and accounting systems. Specially good with Excel, in the use of formulas, including Lookups.
