About the role

 

In this role you’ll be contributing to a multi-year programme of organisational modernisation and business change. As part of Orbis, a shared services partnership between Brighton and Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council, and Surrey County Council, you’ll have exposure and opportunities beyond the immediate Council, should you wish.

You’ll be based in our modern open plan offices in the city centre and benefit from flexible working. Joining our energetic and supportive team working closely with project teams delivering improvements to the council and Brighton and Hove citizens. The council is committed to the continued development of staff, so both formal and informal training will be provided leading to Microsoft certification.

Job Introduction

This role resides in IT & Digital's Platform Engineering team which provides support for  content management and corporate IT platforms. It’s an exciting technical role that will ensure your in at the beginning of our Microsoft Office365 implementation providing exposure to leading collaborative and content management tools as well as building business processes using MS PowerApps and Flow.

Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, keen to develop themselves and be able to demonstrate there knowledge and interest the following areas:

MS SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive

MS PowerApps, Flow and Forms

Release Management

Azure AD

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
