Wandsworth is a dynamic council to work for. We are expanding our Special Needs Assessment Service and at the same time our current Head of Service is retiring, having established a robust legacy and so we are looking for someone to join the service at a time of considerable change.
Wandsworth provides highly effective provision and a wide variety of services to meet the needs of our children and young people. Wandsworth Special Needs Assessment Service currently works with 2000 children and young people with Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans.

You will need to be able to provide strategic leadership to the SNAS and have experience of representing a local authority at meetings.
