Senior Practitioner
With your background in housing, social care and ‘high risk’ clients, you really understand the difference it can make when frontline staff are supported to improve practice. Well, we can put you in a position to do just that. Welcome to Richmond Fellowship as a Senior Practitioner.
Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to join our 24 hour supported housing service in North Shields. Our aim is to help individuals on their recovery journey so they’re able to move on to more independent living within the community.
With a wide range of skills and backgrounds, our teams take a creative approach to their work and are an integral part to the recovery journey of those who use our services. That’s where you come in. As a Senior Practitioner you’ll be focused on practice, but of course your overriding objective will be to provide high quality support to service users, in line with service models and policy. Carrying a caseload of complex cases, you’ll provide strong and effective clinical leadership in formulating support plans and manage the work of Support Workers, Peer Support and other Volunteers, as well taking responsibility for their training and development. You’ll also support the management of the risk load within your service, to ensure safe working practices are in place and appropriate support available.
We expect you to have your QCF in Health and Social Care – ideally level 3 or equivalent – or to be happy to train towards it. Certainly, your substantial experience within the housing and social care sector will have given you a significant understanding of mental health issues, recovery and coproduction, and the intricacies of managing resources effectively. You should also be experienced in carrying out investigations and writing reports and recommendations. On a personal level, you’re solution focused and outcome driven, able both to lead from the front and to delegate when appropriate, and flexible enough to participate in on-call arrangements.
So are you ready to help us change mental health services for the better? Apply now via our website.
